Angus started teaching pilates after graduating from university in 2015. He was first drawn to pilates as a means of injury prevention after years of bad shoulders and dodgy hamstrings; the emphasis on stability and control in pilates helped to not only bring back his range of motion but also build his confidence to move freely again. This forms the basis for his style of teaching, so you can expect precise, purposeful exercises in all of his classes.

To expand on his knowledge, Angus completed his Hatha Yoga teacher training in Rishikesh whilst travelling through India. He incorporates this blend of yoga and pilates into his teaching with strong foundations, smooth transitions and no rushed movements. The training also cemented his belief in the importance of breathwork in terms of both physical performance and mental health.

Angus’ classes incorporate a challenging sequence of controlled and complimentary exercises which will build ability and confidence with your movements, allowing you to safely push your limits to feel that slow burn. With his calm nature and welcoming smiles, classes become a little more accessible.
